EPPO Reporting Service (2018/106) : in July 2016, F. oxysporum f. sp. cubense tropical race 4 was detected in Shfeya and in Kibbutz Ein Gev. All affected plants were destroyed. Intensive surveys have confirmed the absence of the disease which was officially declared eradicated in 2018.
EPPO Reporting Service (2019/059) : tropical race 4 was reported again in early 2019. All infected banana plants have been destroyed. Under eradication.
