Eutetranychus orientalis(EUTEOR)

Distribution details in Libya

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 1992: Absent, unreliable record
From CABI Pest map 688 (2007): Present, no details
Comments
CPPC gives it as present in Libya, but there does not seem to be a specific record. From the documentation given, it seems to be inferred from a general statement of presence in the Middle East and Northeast Africa.

CPPC (1989) Plant pests of quarantine importance to the Caribbean. Proveg-21. FAO RLAC, Santiago.

The IIE of CABI has, however, a specimen from Libya.
