Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2012/092) : first identified in spring 2011 in the central-western part of Sicilia on pistachio nuts (Pistacia vera).

From Bonsignore (2023): initially found in Southwestern Sicilia, it has spread to all pistachio-growing areas and has replaced the previously occurring seed-feeding wasp, Megastigmus pistaciae.
