Official surveys conducted in 2009 confirmed the absence of the pest from the UK.

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/108) : first found in June 2015 in sweet chestnut (Castanea sativa) in Farningham woods, Kent. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2020/201) : detected in London and West Sussex in association with Cryphonectria parasitica.
