During a faunistic survey carried out in the Primor'e region (Far East), 1 specimen of D. suzukii was caught in a light trap placed in the canopy of forest trees.
EPPO Reporting Service (2022/028) : in 2017 and 2020, D. suzukii was found in the city of Sochi, Krasnodar territory. The identity of the pest was confirmed in 2021.
