EPPO Reporting Service (2019/072) : first found in November 2018 on Buxus spp. at three residential locations in Etobicoke.

USDA (2021): also found in St. Catharines, Ontario. A US federal order was issued to halt the importation of host plants from Canada, including boxwood (Buxus species), Euonymus (Euonymus species), and holly (Ilex species).
