EPPO Reporting Service (2013/103) : first found in 2001 in Forno Canavese (Torino province, Piemonte region) in an old family orchard (Malus domestica cv. 'Furnas'). In August 2011, the disease was observed in several organic apple orchards in the province of Bolzano (Trentino-Alto Adige region).
