Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2009/130) : found in 2006 on 1 plant of Vaccinium corymbosum (in Horst, province of Limburg). As the plant was destroyed and the pathogen was not detected in any other plants during subsequent surveys, the NPPO considered that D. vaccinii was no longer present.

EPPO Reporting Service (2013/104) : found again in May 2011 in another V. corymbosum production facility located in the same area (America-Horst, province of Limburg). No impact on yield was recorded at the affected company. In June 2011, similar symptoms were also observed on blueberries (V. myrtillus) in a moorland forest (Planken Wambuis) near Ede, province of Gelderland.

EPPO Reporting Service (2015/135) : found on a single plant of Vaccinium corymbosum in Horst (province of Limburg) in 2006. Never found again on this site. The 2011 detection (see above) was later shown to be associated with Diaporthe eres. Surveys have confirmed that D. vaccinii has been eradicated from the Netherlands.
