Dendrolimus superans(DENDSU)
Distribution details in Russia (Western Siberia)
Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated
1970: Absent, unreliable record
Comments
Nikoforov (1970) mentions an outbreak of the 'Siberian Lasiocampid' (interpreted as D. superans) in 1962-1969 in Tomsk region. However, considering the taxonomic confusion between several Dendrolimus species, this old record would need to be confirmed by more recent studies.
