Comments
From Gninenko & Orlinskii (2002), only in a limited area in the east (beyond 52°), region of Perm and Udmurtiya. A few individuals pheromone-trapped close to Moscow in 2001 (more than 1000 km to the west), but not known to be established in this area. In addition, these findings near Moscow were later questionned and could possibly be misidentifications of D. pini.

From Mikkola & Stahls (2008), D. sibiricus occurs on the European side of the Ural Mountains.

Severe damage is regularly documented in parts of Central Russia.
