EPPO Reporting Service (2006/150) : epidemic in British Columbia for last 12 years, damaging huge areas of Pinus contorta var. latifolia. A new species of associated fungus (Leptographium longiclavatum) has been identified. Research is under way to determine if this has contributed to the new epidemic
