From country itself (1992): ongoing surveillance programme in place (refer NASS Standard 157.02.02).

EPPO Reporting Service (1996/116) : a single male of B. papayae was trapped in Auckland on 1996-03-29. Intensive trapping surveillance set up in area, no others found.

EPPO Reporting Service (1997/177) : 20th Session of APPPC, Chiang Mai (TH). No further captures of B. papayae in 1997.
