Comments
Symptoms were first observed in spring 2008 in commercial crops of melon (Cucumis melo) in Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang. Whiteflies (Bemisia tabaci) were also present in affected fields. CYSDV was confirmed in these three regions (disease incidence of approximately 68%).
