 EPPO Reporting Service 504/02. Recorded in 1950s on Meyer lemon and Cecily grapefruit; destroyed. Found in 4 out of 62 cvs in 1960s, eliminated. According to MFCIC News (1989), recorded on clementine; incidence and spread are under investigation.
EPPO Reporting Service (1996/216) : a recent 5-year survey showed infection in about 6% of host trees. Under eradication.
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/024) : in surveys since 1992, CTV was detected in 25% of groves and 5% of trees. Highest infestation levels were in Ammochastos district, where eradication is not feasible. In Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca and Paphos districts, infected trees have been destroyed, with compensation for the grower.
