Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2010: Absent, pest eradicated
Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2003/057) : first report, in SW England. Crop destroyed and eradication measures put in place.

EPPO Reporting Service (2003/123) : outbreak declared eradicated, by intensive treatment against vector Frankliniella occidentalis. Inspection of other nurseries receing chrysanthemum cuttings from Brazil gave negative results.

EPPO Reporting Service (2011/051) : another incursion was noticed at the begining of 2010 in the south-west of England, probably introduced on imported chrysanthemum cuttings from Brazil. Officially declared eradicated in July 2010.
