Comments
The title of a publication from Kis (1990) suggested the occurrence of the pest in Romania but at that time the EPPO Secretariat could not trace the full paper to verify its contents. A paper from Tatu & Tausan (2011) confirmed the first finding and noted that in November 2010, large numbers of specimens were found under the bark of Platanus sp. and other trees in a park in Sibiu (Sibiu County).
