First recorded in: 2015
Comments
First found in the city park of Krasnodar (Southern Russia) in July 2015. It then spread over the forest zone of the Northwestern Caucasus. The pest was also observed damaging oak forests along the Krasnodar-Novorossiysk Road between the cities of Krymsk, Abinsk and Krasnodar (a distribution map is included in the paper from Neimorovets et al., 2017).

From Musolin et al. (2022): first found in Krasnodar city, then in Adygea, Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, Rostov oblast, Stavropol, Karachay-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, North Ossetia, Chechnya, and Dagestan.
