Comments
Acccording to Chireceanu et al. (2017): first found in August 2016 on Quercus cerris in Bucharest by a member of the public. More specimens were then found in Bucharest and the village of Moara Domnească (Ilfov County).

According to Tomescu et al. (2018): C. arcuata was first reported in 2015 and spread across the country in 2016-2017. During surveys carried out in 2016/2017, it was found in 67 out of 124 surveyed locations, mainly in Southern and Western Romania, as well as in Eastern Romania.
