EPPO Reporting Service (2001/057) : first observed in 2000 north of Milano (Lombardia). Since found in several areas (parks and roadsides) in Lombardia and Piemonte.
EPPO Reporting Service (2002/071) : now in one area of 7000 km2 in Lombardia and Piemonte, plus isolated record north of Lake Como near Swiss border.
From Bracalini et al. (2023): first found in Lombardia and Piemonte, and then in other Northeastern Italian regions: Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Emilia Romagna, Toscana and Lazzio. Mainly on Quercus robur and Q. cerris, and to a lesser extent on Q. pubescens.
