EPPO Global Database

Chrysobothris femorata(CHRBFE)

Distribution details in Costa Rica

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 2021: Absent, unreliable record
Comments
From EPPO PRA: Arguedas Gamboa & Rodríguez Solís (2016) mention C. femorata in a list of Tectona grandis pests in Costa Rica, but they cite an article which provides a list of T. grandis pests that is not specific to Costa Rica and, for C. femorata, refers only to an article for Ecuador (Flores Velasteguí et al., 2010), which is doubtful.
