Comments
First recorded in Northern Ireland in November 2012 in Leitrim county, then found in other localities. Studies (Baxter et al., 2023) have shown that the fungus had probably been introduced with infected planting material in 2006/2007. Ash dieback is considered to be widespread in Northern Ireland and eradication measures were discontinued in 2020.
