According to Tsopelas et al. (2017 - based on a personal communication), the disease has been found in the European part of Turkey. However, this has not been confirmed by any other sources.
EPPO Reporting Service (2018/081) : presence confirmed. The pathogen was first detected in 2016 in the European side of Istanbul causing severe dieback and tree mortality on Platanus x acerifolia and Platanus orientalis.
