EPPO Global Database

Bretziella fagacearum(CERAFA)

Distribution details in Poland

Situation
Current pest situation evaluated by EPPO on the basis of information dated 1994: Absent, invalid record
From CABI Disease map 254 (1993): Absent, invalid record
Comments
The CABI map indicates that the fungus isolated in some central European countries "differs from Ceratocystis fagacearum". In fact, all so-called European records are simple misidentifications of Ceratocystis-like fungi found in declining oaks.
