Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/007) : severe leaf yellowing symptoms were first observed on glasshouse melons in Kumamoto Prefecture (Kyushu) in 2004. Similar symptoms were then observed in cucumber and watermelon. CCYV-affected areas are increasing rapidly throughout Japan, most probably with the spread of B. tabaci biotype Q.
