2019: Absent, unreliable record
Wilson et al (2007) citing Ørgaard (1991) details the species is present in Malaysia. However, Siti-Munirah MY and Chew MY (2010) detail that Ørgaard (1991) reported C. caroliniana from ‘Malaysia but consider this an error as the record is from Papua New Guinea.
