EPPO Reporting Service (1999/176) : officially declared absent (but without supporting information).

EPPO Reporting Service (2001/029) : first report in 2000, in county of Splitsko-Dalmatinska on the Dalmatian coast. Under eradication.

From the NPPO in 2008: faunistic surveys done from 2005 to 2007 on citrus whiteflies detected Bemisia tabaci in citrus leaf samples.
