Comments
The record of B. correcta in Taiwan (Lu et al., 2010) is considered to be invalid by the NPPO of Taiwan, as it is not substantiated by field studies. In addition, B. correcta is listed as a quarantine pest in Taiwan and has been included in a national surveillance programme for fruit flies (including traps) since 1989. The pest has never been found.
