Comments
Several countries have intercepted plants infested by A. yasumatsui from Costa Rica, but the occurrence of this insect in Costa Rica needs to be confirmed (Germain & Hodges 2007).

From NPPO (IPPC website 2008, revised in 2015): officially confirms the presence of A. yasumatsui. The pest was first observed in 2004 in the region of Tigra de San Carlos. In 2006, it was also found in Guacima de Pococi, Pocora and Moravia in commercial plantations and gardens.
