Comments
In July 2008, 1 adult male was caught in a trap placed near an orange tree in a suburban area of Port Hueneme, Ventura county. Intensive surveys were then carried out across California and no other specimens were found. Therefore, the 2008 detection was considered as an isolated regulatory incident.
