EPPO Reporting Service (2012/033) : detected in Sicilia in the in the vineyards of the Etna area (Province of Catania).
EPPO Reporting Service (2022/229) : also recorded in September 2021 in the urban area of Colli Aniene (Rome) on Vitis labrusca. Photos of this first finding on the mainland had been posted on social media and the identity of the aphid was then confirmed by an aphidologist.
