A. ludens has not recently been recorded in Colombia. A recent article by Norrbom et al. (Revista Colombiana de Entomología, 31, 67-70) describes a new species in Colombia, A. manzaliensis. Earlier records of A. ludens are misidentifications due to confusion with this other species.
