Comments
CABI map indicates that the report is based on a specimen found in an imported consignment in 1937. No records until 2009.

EPPO Reporting Service (2009/176) : caught for the first time in May 2009 on sentinel traps placed in the Province of Darien, and then found in the province of Panama. It is noted that the pest is not present in the main commercial cucurbit-growing areas. Under official control.

From IPPC (2018): found on Fevillea cordifolia, a plant which is only found along rivers and streams from the province of Darién to the community of Quebrada Cali in the Corregimiento of Torti, district of Chepo.
