Comments
EPPO Reporting Service (2011/218) : detected for the first time in 2011 in Baden-Württemberg on Goji berry plants (Lycium spp., and presumably in this case Lycium barbarum) which were grown in an orchard for fruit production. Under eradication.

EPPO Reporting Service (2012/233) : after the initial record in Baden-Württemberg, surveys were conducted in Germany and detected the mite in the following lander in 2012: Berlin, Baden-Württemberg, Bayern, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Sachsen, Schleswig-Holstein. Under eradication.

From NPPO (2018): found in a nursery in Sachsen on Lycium barbarum plants, in 2015 in a trading company and in two nurseries. All infested plants were destroyed and official inspections were conducted at these locations. The pest has not been found anymore and Aceria kuko is considered eradicated at these locations.
