EU Minor Uses Coordination Facility: a new Newsletter!
The EU Minor Uses Coordination Facility (MUCF) started its work on the 1st of September 2015. Jointly funded by the EU and the governments of France, Germany and the Netherlands, MUCF is hosted by EPPO. The main goal of MUCF is to address the problem of minor uses of plant protection products at the European level. More particularly, its main mission is ‘to enable farmers in the EU to produce high quality crops by filling minor uses gaps through efficient collaboration to improve availability of chemical and non-chemical tools within an integrated pest management (IPM) framework’. As MUCF has initiated many new activities (meetings, database development, website), it was time to report these in a newsletter.
