Decision - Health Regulations for the importation


Having taken into consideration.
The regulations of the Royal Decree No. 756/9-12-71 regarding «the health conditions ruling out the importations of plants and products of such plants in the country», e.t.c.

We decide
To complete and formulate par. 1, Part. III Fruit - trees and bushes, of the Annex III Special requirements and the Annex VII Points of entry in the country, of the Royal Decree No. 756/9-12-71, as follows :
  1. Annex III Special Requirements, Part. III Fruit - trees and bushes, par. 1 :
The importation of Prunus L. plants of the species : Prunus armeniaca L., P. triloba Lindl., P. insititia L., P. spinosa L., P. salinica Lindl., P. ceracifera Ehrh or myrobolana, P. persica (L) Batsch, P. domestica L., exept for fruit and seeds, is prohibited if they have not been inspected and certified as free from viruses.
At the place referred to as «Additional declaration» of the phytosanitary certificate it is necessary to be stated that «the product has been inspected and certified as free from viruses».
  1. Annex VII Points of entry in the country :
The importation of all the species of wood is allowed through all the directions of custom houses and customs of A,B,C class, provided the importation is not contrary to the prohibitive regulations of the R.D 756/9-12-71 and the supplementary decisions of it.

This decision is to be published in the Official Gazette.
