Temporary ban on the import of certain plants in order to prevent the spread of Frankliniella occidentalis


In accordance with §2, clause 3, of the Finnish Plant Protection Act (127/81) issued on 13 February 1981, the National Board of Agriculture decided, on 21 August 1987 to prevent the spread of F. occidentalis by temporarily banning the import of the following plants: Saintpaulia, Kalanchoe, Schlumbergera, Gloxinia and Streptocarpus.
The temporary ban will stay in force from 24 August 1987 until 24 November 1987.
