Xanthomonas ampelina renamed
At the EPPO Conference on Bacterial Plant Diseases (Angers, FR, 5-6 May 1986), Willems et al. reported the various reasons for excluding X. ampelina (EPPO list A2) from the genusXanthomonas. The new name for this bacterium has now been published Xylophilus ampelinus (Panagopoulos) Willems et al.
