Data sheets on Forest Protection (Waldschutz-Merkblätter)

Verlag Paul Parey has recently produced the first 12 of a series of data sheets on forest protection, in German, excellently illustrated. Some relate to EPPO quarantine organisms: Ceratocystis fagacearum (A1) and C. ulmi (A2). All are very useful at a time when forest decline is seen almost everywhere, and very diverse causes are involved. The series currently covers: 1) Nectria coccinea, 2) Gremmeniella abietina, 3) salt damage, 4) Rhabdocline pseudotsuga, 5) Diprion pini, 6) butt rot, 7) mouse damage, 8) Lymantria dispar, 9) Ceratocystis fagacearum, 10) Cephalcia abietis, 11) Ceratocystis ulmi, 12) Arvicola terrestris.
