Revision of phytosanitary regulations of Finland


The National Board of Agriculture of Finland has amended its phytosanitary regulations. The following changes will come into effect on 1991-01-01:

The import of host plants of fireblight (Erwinia amylovora, EPPO A2 list) is now prohibited also from Chile, Colombia, Czechoslovakia, Japan, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia and Switzerland;
The import of host plants of plum pox potyvirus is now prohibited also from Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Portugal and New Zealand but no longer from Switzerland;

The import of strawberry plants (Fragaria) is now prohibited also from Belgium, Cyprus and Luxembourg, where Phytophthora fragariae occurs.
