Tomato spotted wilt virus in Sweden
Tomato spotted wilt virus (TSWV) was detected for the first time in Sweden in summer 1990. Since then, outbreaks have been recorded at several places and on many different crops. The National Board of Agriculture has changed the Swedish phytosanitary regulations and placed TSWV on the Swedish A list. It is intended to eradicate TSWV from Sweden. Imported diseased plant material was the source of introduction (See also EPPO Reporting Service n° 500/16 for TSWV in Finland and n° 508/08 on TSWV in France).
