Rhizomania outbreak in England
Since the first outbreak of beet necrotic yellow vein furovirus (BNYVV) in Suffolk (England) in 1987 (EPPO Reporting Service n° 495) and its containment (Bulletin OEPP/EPPO Bulletin 19, 501-508), a second outbreak has been reported in the adjoining country of Norfolk in 1989. Similar containment measures are being taken.
