Temperature requirements for Heliothis armigera larvae


In India experiments were carried out to study the effects of different temperatures on the larval development of Heliothis armigera (EPPO A2 pest).
At 12° C and 37° C the larvae did not survive to the pupal stage. Most suitable temperature for the larval development was 22° C.
