Bursaphelenchus xylophilus present in Korea
The pine wood nematode, Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (EPPO A1 List) is reported from the Republic of Korea. Surveys for nematodes and insects associated with dead trees revealed the presence of B. xylophilus as well as its main vector Monochamus alternatus.
