Fungicide against Ophiostoma ulmi
In the United Kingdom a fungicide has been reported very effective against Ophiostoma ulmi (EPPO A2 list) the causal agent of Dutch elm disease.
According to the Arboricultural Advisory and Information Service the fungicide, based on thiabendazole hypophosphite, reached a recovery rate of 81% of the infected trees during a test period of 5 years. The fungicide gives its best results when injected during the early disease stage.
