Interceptions in Finland in 1990
The Finnish Plant Quarantine Service has summarized the interceptions of plants imported into Finland in 1990.
In 1990, a total of 408 consignments were intercepted and either destroyed, treated or reshipped. Only two interceptions were due to the infestation of A1 quarantine pests: Bursaphelenchus xylophilus on 5395.713 m3 of pinewood (partly destroyed and partly kiln-dried) and Liriomyza sativae on cut flowers.
