Spodoptera littoralis in Iraq
Surveys have been carried out in Iraq to monitor the flight activities of the cotton leafworm moth, Spodoptera littoralis (EPPO A2 organism), in unsprayed cabbage and cauliflower fields in Iraq. The peaks of flying activity occurred in November-December and February-March. The observations revealed that the adults of S. littoralis were able to survive the coldest winter temperatures.
