First record of Bemisia tabaci in Hungary
In 1990, Bemisia tabaci (EPPO A2 pest) has been observed for the first time in Hungary. It appeared sporadically in 9 different parts of the country, especially on ornamental plants grown under glass, but tomato and aubergine infestations were also observed. More effective control methods are under development.
