New monoclonal antibodies against tomato spotted wilt virus
New monoclonal antibodies against tomato spotted wilt virus (EPPO A2 list) have been developed in Germany.
Two MCA's were developed which show specificity to envelope and core proteins of TSWV. The core-specific MCA's revealed serological differences between isolates belonging to the lettuce serotype, but did not react with the impatiens serotype.
The MCA's have been deposited at the DSM Collection in Braunschweig, Germany.
