Fruit flies on peach in Argentina


In Argentina, a survey was carried out to determine the Tephritid fauna on peaches in the Jujuy province. Ten species of fruit flies were recorded: Anastrepha chiclayae, A. dissimilis, A. fraterculus (EPPO A1 organism), A. mombinpraeoptans (synonym of A. obliqua, CEC A1 organism), A. schultzi, Blepharoneura sp., Ceratitis capitata (EPPO A2 organism), Rhagoletis blanchardi, Toxotrypana nigra and T. proseni.
