Differentiation of potato cyst nematodes
In the Netherlands, species-specific monoclonal antibodies have been developed to differentiate between Globodera pallida and G. rostochiensis.
Basing on these monoclonal antibodies an ELISA test has been developed which allows the detection and differentiation of potato cyst nematodes at even very low levels.
This ELISA test is now routinely used by the Dutch inspection services.
